Johanna van Oepen Born: circa 1770 unknown Died: after 1806 (probably) Stenern, Westphalia, Prussia

Johanna's parentage and place of origin are unknown, although her maiden name was Schroers.

She married Gerhardus van Oepen on 11 February 1793 in Bocholt. The coat of arms of the town is shown here.

Between 1794 and 1806, Gerhardus and Johanna had five children:

1. Henrica Aleida (16 Mar 1794 - 22 Apr 1848)
   She married Johannes Bernhard Meyering (1795-1875)
2. Maria Catharina (b. 9 Mar 1796)
3. Helena (b. 3 Jun 1798)
4. Anna Gertrud (b. 1 Sep 1800)
5. Heinrich (b. 30 Apr 1806)
   

Their children were born in Stenern, so the family lived there during that period.
