Johanna was the fourth of five surviving children of Mathias Jung and A. Elisabetha Schnur. Her youngest sister, Anna Maria Gillen, is number 35 in this Ahnentafel.

Johanna married Peter Gillen on 8 February 1809 in Bliesen. The picture shows the coat of arms of the village.

Between 1810 and 1821, Peter and Johanna had five children:

    He married Elisabeth Wagner (1814-1878)

    He married Maria Wagner (1821-1899)
  5. Johann Nikolaus (13 Jan 1821 - 29 May 1888)
    He married Barbara Wagner (1825-1878)

Johanna died at age 69.
