A. Elisabetha was the eldest of two children of Johann Peter Schnur and her father's second wife, Katharina Funck.

Elisabetha married Mathias Jung on 24 January 1775 in Bliesen. The picture shows the coat of arms of the village.

Between 1775 and 1791, Mathias and Elisabetha had six children:

  1. Johannes (5 Nov 1775 - 18 Jul 1801)
    He was unmarried, and died at age 25.
  2. Matthias (b. 4 Feb 1779)
  3. Elisabetha (9 Mar 1782 - 26 Mar 1784)
    She died at the age of two.
  4. Maria (20 Jul 1785 - 26 Oct 1813)
    She married Peter Schneider (1778-1818)
  5. Johanna (8 Jun 1788 - 15 Aug 1857)
    She married Peter Gillen (1786-1822)
  6. Anna Maria (1 Sep 1791 - aft 1830)
    She married Johannes Gillen (ca 1767-aft 1830)

Elisabetha died at age 57.
