Johannes Gillen Born: 16 December 1760 Bliesen, Duchy of Lorraine Died: 30 March 1820 (probably) Bliesen, Principality of Lichtenberg

Johannes was the fifth of six surviving children of Johann Jacob Gillen and Catharina Klein. His older sister, Maria Frantz, is number 151 in this Ahnentafel.

He worked as a farmer.

Johannes married Anna M. Plettener on 21 February 1786 in Bliesen. The picture shows the coat of arms of the village.

Between 1786 and 1801, Johannes and Anna had seven children, including Peter Gillen and Elisabeth Gillen.

Johannes died at age 59.
