Katharina Wagner Born: 18 December 1760 Bliesen, Duchy of Lorraine Died: 08 May 1838 (probably) Bliesen, Rhine Province, Prussia

Katharina was the youngest of two children of Johann Staub and Johanna Rauber. Her father died when she was a young child, and her mother remarried.

Katharina married Johannes Wagner on 25 February 1783 in Bliesen. The coat of arms of the village is shown here.

Between 1786 and 1793, Johannes and Katharina had three children:

1. Johann Nikolaus (11 Dec 1786 - 26 Aug 1868)
   He married Elisabeth Frantz (1789-1856)
2. Maria (3 Jan 1791 - 20 Jul 1827)
   She married Johann Nikolaus Frantz (1786-1858), who was the son of Johannes Frantz and Maria Gillen.
3. Anna (17 Nov 1793 - 29 Mar 1868)
   She married Jakob Nikolaus Biegel (1786-1859)

All of their children were born in Bliesen, so the family lived there during that period.

Katharina died at age 77.
