Georg's parentage is unknown.

He was a student of the divine word in Innsbruck from 1702-1704, and a student of jurisprudence in Salzburg from 1704 onwards. From 1735 to 1745 he is mentioned as the city clerk [Kanzleiverwalter] in Buchhorn. He also served as postmaster from 1728 onwards.

Georg is probably the same person as Johann Jakob Leuthin, who was a lawyer, and served as city clerk and city treasurer in Buchhorn in 1751. He was living as a widower in the household of his son-in-law, Franz Lukas Ganter, in 1761.
