Anna Gillen Born: circa 1735 Nonnweiler, Duchy of Lorraine Died: after 1779 (probably) Heisterberg

Anna's parentage is unknown, although her maiden name was Knüppel. The coat of arms for the municipality of Nonnweiler is shown here.

Anna married Wendelin Gillen on either 13 or 22 February 1757, possibly in St. Wendel.

Between 1759 and 1779, Wendelin and Anna had seven children:

   She married Jakob Schad
3. M. Anna (b. 15 Dec 1765)
4. Katharina (b. 4 Feb 1769)
5. Magdalena (1 Nov 1772 - 3 Nov 1854)
   She married Johann Jakob Egler (b. 1766)
6. Wendelin (b. 24 May 1776)
7. Peter (b. 6 Jun 1779)

At least two of their children were born in Heisterberg, so the family lived there during that period.
