Cunigunda was the daughter of Bernard Schartig and Margaretha Hummlin. She was living in Lohndorf at the time of her marriage.

Cunigunda was the second wife of Johann Döppmann. A civil license was granted for the union on 2 September 1816, and the marriage took place on 7 October 1816 in Tiefenellern. The coat of arms of Barmberg is shown here.

Between 1818 and 1827, Johann and Cunigunda had at least two children:

  1. Margarethe (b. 1 Jan 1818)
  2. Johann (2 Jan 1827 - 20 Sep 1875)
    He married Cunigunda Zenk (1824-bef 1888)
